We are looking for an honest hardworking Au pair who can use her initiative and is genuinely interested in becoming a big sister to two young children as well as becoming part of our family. We need someone young and energetic to help care for our 2 wonderful children while my wife and I are working. We are looking for someone who will enjoy spending time with us, going on days out, sharing family meals and wants to fully join our family life. We would like our au pair to be able to speak English fairly well as our youngest is only learning to talk. We currently have an Au pair leaving with us who has managed to get a place at one of the Universities here in the Midlands. She has been with us now for 15 months and will be leaving us to pursue her own development.
We expect you to care fully for both our kids while we are working. Our shifts can be anywhere from 10hrs to 14hrs not including travelling to work. Due to this we require someone who will be getting them breakfast, taking Tamsin to school and putting them to bed at night. Tamsin goes to school Monday to Friday 8:30am until 3:30pm. You will need to take her and collect her when we are working. Theodore is at home most days but will be attending nursery soon. There will be some housework involved in caring for our children in relation to cooking their meals, keeping toys tidy, kitchen tidy, bedroom tidy, and washing their clothes. We do not expect you to cook for me or my wife Sue. There is plenty to do when we are at work but plenty of free time on our off days as well as when the children are in school/nursery. You will have the children at night if both my wife and I are working nights . Ideally we would like someone with a drivers licence which would make travelling easier. However those without a licence would still be able to get around.
