Dear Aupair, I am a doctor, and I am looking for a mature and flexible girl with some understanding of English, to help me with child care and house work for at least 6 months, starting as soon as possible. We live in South of Manchester. Trafford College and several other language schools are in the area offer good English language courses. I have 2 girls. 15 and 6yrs old. Both go to school at 9am and return at 3:30 pm. Your main work hours will be 3:30 to 7.30 pm 5 days a week. Rest of hours will be flexible. English is main language at home,but girls are learning German and Spanish I sometime work night-shifts or weekends, I therefore need flexible hours of working. We mostly eat vegetarian but I provide chicken and meat if you want.
I need help for 25 hrs a week and one weekend a month, most work is childcare, some house work. Most mornings and 3/4 saturdays will be free. If you would like to have a full weekend off, we can negotiate that. Your work start when children arrive from school You need to prepare and give children snacks like pasta , sandwich etc. The older one does not need much care other than ironing, tidying-up of room and afterschool snacks, but the youngest one needs alot more supervision after school and help with daily tasks. You will also need to accompany her to activities. You have your own bedroom but toilet and shower are shared. I work 3-4 nights every 2 months and you will need to get the little one ready for school in the morning when i am on nights. You will need to tidy up kitchen,load & unload dishwasher, tidy-up living room and dinning room and children's bed every day. Also Vaccum clean once a week and ironing twice a week. You will need to do simple meals for children and yourself, during the day. I need flexible hours of work (day to day and week to week ) and for that i am flexible as well. If you want to leave for any reason, you will need to give 6 weeks notice, because I am doctor and I cannot cancel my Duties. I hope we will see you soon in Manchester.
