We are a busy bi-lingual family with 3 children living in the beautiful city of Nancy in the east of France. The ages of the children are 11, 9 and 6 years (girl, boy, boy). I am english and my husband is french, our children speak both languages fluently and we expect you to speak english with the children. We are looking for a live in aupair who is ideally a native English speaker. You must be available from end August/ beginning September 2015 for a period of 11 months, approx 30 hours per week. As well as being trustworthy and safety conscious, you must genuinely have a liking for being around young children and be able to motivate and channel their energies ! To fit in with us you need to be kind and of a friendly disposition. We would love it if you are creative and maybe musical ! We also have an affectionate cat so it would be helpful if you were not allergic !
The job (Mon - Fri) would entail taking the children to and from school and their various activities during the week. Meal preparation for the children, looking after their clothes and toys - encourage tidying up ! Some babysitting on the occasional evening, some general housework. You will have plenty of free time during the day to study french. Weekends are free time.
