Dear Aupair, We live in a lovely village called Bray, 5 minutes from Maidenhead (large town) where there is a train to London Paddington that takes 20-40 minutes.We are looking for an LIVE-IN AUPAIR/MOTHERS HELP WHO HAS A DRIVING LICENCE and is happy to drive in this country for 35-38 hrs/wk with up to 2 evenings of babysitting a week. The position is available from the beginning of September 2017 but we can be flexible for the right person. Ideally we are looking for an aupair who has a calm nature and is loving and caring. We are a busy, fun family with an energetic animal loving 9 year old son and a creative 10 year old daughter, 3 cats and 3 chickens! I am self-employed and my husband works in London and commutes everyday. We are a happy family, who like spending time with each other. We swim, cycle, go for long walks, kick a football around, go and visit family, play with the animals and generally have fun, life is too short to be boring and grownup! Henry plays the harp and Millie plays the flute. They are both brilliant swimmers and have been picked to be in the school swimming team. Henry also loves horseriding and gymnastics and Millie is brilliant on the sewing machine making things and drawing outfits. They both also like minecraft, building worlds together.
The hours are flexible and negotiable as I am self employed so when I am at home, I try to take charge of the children leaving our aupair to either study, get extra work or have free-time. When I work during the school holidays, the aupair will have sole charge of the children, but I will take the hours worked and adjust days off/money accordingly. Usual hours will be 7am - 8am then 3.45pm- 7.30 pm. Both children are at school from 8.00- 3.45pm. (or later depending on if they have after school clubs) During this time, you will be required to do the household laundry, ironing and some light housework. When the children return, you will be required to help the children with their homework, take them to after-school activities and playdates, tidy up and prepare their meals and help with bathtime and bedtime.The aupair normally eats with the children so if you have any preference to certain foods (one aupair loved nutella, the other was vegetarian) then let me know and i'll buy it for you. You will have your own large double bedroom with your own shower with a TV and WIFI access. You will have your own bike if you want. There are great language schools and colleges nearby which we will pay for. You will have the use of the family car. The local village have lots of aupairs, so you wont find it hard to make new friends. Our area is well connected by bus and train to central London, Oxford, Reading and Windsor. You must be a NON SMOKER, with conversational English. We are looking for an aupair who is female and over the age of 21
