We are looking for a new au pair to come and join our family for the next school year September 2017-July 2018 to help look after the children before and after school. We are an active, sporty family and are looking for a warm, easy going, au pair. We have already had three au pairs and they have all been amazing, it has been great fun having them live with us. Hugo, our last au pair has just left us to start new adventures and we are looking forward to welcoming a new au pair in September when the schools go back. We live in a lovely village surrounded by gorgeous countryside, great for walks and cycle rides along the river, across the fields and in the hills. We are located between Reading and Oxford just a short walk from the station where you can get to Reading in 15 minutes, Oxford in 30 minutes and London in 45 minutes. My name is Sarah. I am a single mother, working as a Market Analyst. I have two outgoing, sporty children: Rosie (13 years) and Harvey (11 years). Rosie is already at secondary school and Harvey will start secondary school in September. Rosie enjoys playing football and gym. She is often found on her trampoline doing flips. Harvey just loves to play and enjoys karate, parkour and football. We also have two cats called Welly and Drizzle and a guinea pig.
We are looking for an au pair to help the children get ready for school in the morning and to help look after the children when they return from school. There are also some light housework tasks across the week such as vacuuming, cleaning, tidying, ironing, cooking some meals and occasional babysitting. There are a number of language schools in Reading so you are able to attend language school at least twice a week to improve your English if you want. We live in a bungalow and you will have your own room and will be paid weekly. If you have reasonably good English already and like what you have read please get in touch!
