We are a multicultural family (between us we speak French, German, Italian and Japanese, but at home we speak English) and both parents have at some point lived with a family abroad to learn a foreign language. We know what it takes and we know how to help you. You will have your own room with en-suite, TV, DVD and Wi Fi. You would also have the use of a car for work and personal use.
We are a busy, happy, noisy family with 3 children: Sara (12, loves all sport), Bertie (10, loves reading) and Claudio (8, loves Lego and Harry Potter). My husband works 5 days a week in London, and I work 3 full days in London. We live on a beautiful family farm, with green fields all around, cows, sheep and our own (large) dog, Rosie. Fortunately for us, we are only a 25 minute walk (through a park) or a 5 minute car journey from the town centre of Tunbridge Wells, which is a good sized town with numerous language schools, shops, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, gyms etc. It's a lovely place to live - google it! There are excellent train connections to London (50 minutes to Charing Cross/ Trafalgar Square). We currently have an Italian au pair who is going back home in July. We have had 4 au pairs in the past, we are still in touch with all of them - and are very much looking forward to hosting one again!
