Dear au pair We are looking forward to welcoming an au pair into our family home. We live just outside an area called Woking so it is a five minute drive to the town centre and only 25 minutes into London and ten minutes drive to Guildford. We are a world away in the countryside so we are very lucky to have the flexibility of both. We are very happy here and we hope that you will be too. We are a family of four: Isabel the mother is a half Spanish (from Galicia) half English lawyer Philip is an English/American/Australian lawyer Eliana is our five year old daughter George is our one year old baby Ellie goes to school and George is at nursery. Isabel is a happy and bubbly person who grew up with au pairs and is still in contact with many of them, Isabel loves to be in the garden making it beautiful when she isn't working or having fun with Ellie and George. Philip is a responsible and loving man who loves golf and Ellie is fun loving and cheeky and George is beautiful and sweet and loves his big sister.
We are looking for someone kind, responsible, trustworthy and bubbly and organised to help us with Eliana and to help with the new baby by taking them to school and nursery and collecting them. Someone who is happy to cook occasionally and also help with light housework (tidying etc...) would also be great although we do have cleaners who come to the house twice a week. We need our au pair then to look after the children until we arrive home from work and to look after Ellie for the school holidays when she is not at camp - generally we book her in to enjoy different camps because it is more fun for her to be out than at home. When it isn't school holidays your days will be free from around 8.30am until 3pm. We would love the au pair to take language classes and there are schools close by which provide language classes which we will help the au pair to choose. Since we have had an au pair who we love for the last year, she is also happy to recommend the best classes if you need it. So far we have had two au pairs and we think they have been very happy with us and us with them.
