We are a lovely little family of 4. We are originally from Sri Lanka and been living in the UK for more than ten years. I am a hospital hospital doctor working in London. My husband is a university lecturer. We have got two lovely children ( 10 year old daughter and 5 year old son). Children are at school from 9-3 and Aupair's main job is to look after the children outside school hours(7-9 & 3-8). We would love to have a girl who is responsible, organised and love to spend time with children preferably with some childcare experience and reasonable level of English. Please note we are looking for an Aupair from Europe or any country without visa restrictions to work in the Uk.
Getting children ready for school , serving breakfast and dropping at school. 1-2 hours of light house work (e.g cleaning after kids, tidying up, putting clothes out for washing and in the dryer afterwards etc). Then you pick the children from school at 3.15, give them a snack, help the little one with a wash, prepare their dinner and serve. Once you tidy up after kids evening meals you could take time off. In between you drop and pick children at school you will have plenty of free time. Our children are very sociable and get along with Aupairs very well. We already had three lovely Aupairs and we all had a great time together. You will be given one week paid holiday every 6 months. You could get more unpaid holiday as well. As I am a hospital doctor I work one in five week ends and we would really appreciate if you could help us 1:5 weekends, mostly 5-6 hours if possible. All the other weekends (4 weekends in a row) you could have time off. You will be paid extra money for helping at the weekends. Very rare babysitting required; probably once a month or so, again we will pay extra for this. We live in a small town with very good transport to near by cities and to London. All our Aupairs found private English tutors and two of them have done the exam as well. We live in a beautiful place in south east of England which is very close to lovely beaches and beautiful wildlife parks. If you are a nature lover this is the place for you. It's very easy to find other Aupairs in this area through websites and you could have a good social life as well. As I work long hours we are looking for a girl who is responsible and organised. We are happy to pay £100 for 35-40 hours a week and more for any extra hours you do. You will be given a fully furnished room and will have to share the main bathroom with the children. We do have unlimited Wifi. There is a TV and a DVD player in your room as well. We will help you to settle in our house therefore you don't have be scared of coming to live in a new place.
