Hello Au Pair!, We are a kind and loving family looking for a fun, friendly and honest person to help with our 2 children living in Liverpool, UK. Our daughter is 5 years old and our son is 8 months old so we are looking for someone who adores children and ideally has experience with young babies. You need to be trustworthy and organised and also flexible. We live in a 4 bedroom semi detached house in Crosby which is a small town on the outskirts of Liverpool, about 15 minutes drive by car from the city centre. We live a hectic lifestyle and we are always busy. Both my wife and I work full time Monday to Friday in Liverpool. Our daughter attends a local school Monday to Friday, about a 10 minute walk from our house and our son goes to a local nursery 3 days a week which is about a 5 minute walk away. We are a bilingual family. My wife is Italian and speaks fluent English. I am English and I speak fluent Italian. Our daughter speaks both too. We spend as much time together as possible as a family. We are all very active people and our daughter attends several clubs outside of school.
We would expect you to take care of our son 2 days a week, helping with his development and taking him to baby/toddler groups on those set days. The other 3 days a week we would expect you to pick our daughter up from her school and help her make a start on her school duties, homework etc. You can cook for the family if you wish and help with meal times. We enjoy experiencing new foods and would love to sample some from your culture but this is not expected. Some household chores, light cleaning, washing would be expected. Evenings and weekends would be off, however we would require some flexibility as and when needed. You will have your own room, WiFi, television and a weekly allowance.
