We are a busy family! We live in North Swindon, just on the Cotswold border. We have a 9 year old son who loves Xbox, nature, walks and Minecraft (!) and a 5 year old girl who has to love the same things as the 9 year old she is given no choice by him! She is the girliest girl you will ever meet and has the most ridiculous lie-ins at the weekend for a 5 year old (like -10am ish!!) My husband works in London and I run my own business in Swindon. We are always doing something or going somewhere - and it's great! To keep up with this, we need an Au pair who is confident, mature, who is capable of being independent. Swindon is on the mainline to London. Both Oxford and Bath are 40 minutes drive away. We are a very busy family with active, happy children aged 5 and 9. We are looking for a flexible, independent Au Pair to work up to 35 hours a week (no weekend work) for £70/week. Start asap.
We are looking for someone to help with childcare during the week. My wife works in London and stays away sometimes during the week which can cause difficulty with my evening commitments. Duties would be: school pick-ups where needed, cooking kids' dinner and bedtimes where required and some babysitting. There may be some light housework. Both children are at school, so hours during the day would be free - in school holidays this would change though and you would be needed during day times as well. There would be a car available for your use as long as you have a full driving licence and qualify for insurance. If you have a car that you would like to bring, there is room to keep it here.
