We are a fun loving South African family living in the UK for the past 15 years. We have three beautiful children, a daughter of 8 and twin boys of 2 years and 9 months. We have a busy household with a very good routine so everyone knows what is happening when. We live in a beautiful country village, still close enough for an easy commute to London, Canterbury and the seaside. My husband and I mix working from home and in London, which means either of us is at home every day to lend a helping hand. We have had 3 au pairs / nannies in the past and appreciate the amazing work they do for us, without them we could not survive (and stay sane)! We pride ourselves in looking after our au pairs / nannies and make them feel part of the family.
We are looking for an energetic organised individual that can help look after the children while we are working. We require child care 35 hours a week. The duties will include general childcare of the twin boys and my daughter during holidays, before and after school. Planning activities like park visits, playgroup visits, messy play etc. Home based learning is very important for us too. We need someone who is patient, gentle, loving, enthusiastic, creative, tidy, organised (this is a very important trait for looking after twins).
