We are five person family with three boys. Julius is 8years, Oliver is 7years and Valter is 3years old(Feb). We are living in Porvoo ~60km from Helsinki (http://www.porvoo.fi/en). Porvoo is a small and nice town, with attractive old town and all facilities are within walking distance from home (~1km from downtown). Lot of different sport activities available. We offer for you own private room with garden view. You are warmly welcome part of our family. Julius is at second class and Oliver is at his first class at elementary school nearby. Valter is at kindergarden also nearby home. Mom Sanna is doing daytime job as nurse at Helsinki university hospital. Dad Mikael is working as a project work in Porvoo and are traveling in europe time to time. We all like swimming, and Julius has joined Porvoo swimming club and basketball team. During winter time Julius is also downhill skiing. Oliver is starting downhill skiing right now and continuing in kids gymnastic. We like to spend time outdoors. Boys favorite in the backyard is the trampoline(summer). We like cooking at weekends evenings, watching TV or playing sometime table games. Life is pretty busy at week days, with all work and hobbies, but during weekend we have more time to spend together. We spend time at home, sometimes we visit relatives and friends. Free time at summer, we have possibility to spend time close to see(private summer house) and swim and use sauna and grill. Have fun outdoors, close to forest and nature and see. We want that the boys learn basic english. In the morning you will take care morning routines, wake up, helping with breakfest, and boys are ready to school in time. Sometimes you need to take also Valter to kindergarten, if dad is on business trip. Afternoon we wish you are at home when boys come from school. You try to help them in school work if they need help, giving snack and spending time with them (Check they not only play with their pads). You need to pick up Valter from kindergarten. We like if you participate to sport activities with boys(downhill skiing, swimming, jogging, etc) what you like and can. We expect you can do light cooking and do some basic food sometimes for boys. We also wish you to help us in daily household work for example arranging, cleaning, ironing, washing clothes, just normal things the same as we do. We hope you feel as a real home and spend time also with whole family at evenings, freetime or dinners. We like you are part of family, not alone. When we come from work, it would be nice to chat a while how the day has went... drink coffee or tea and so on.... Sometimes we would like to take time for relax shopping on Saturday or Sunday and wish you could spend time with kids few hours then. Sometimes also cinema would be great at Saturday evening(we don't remember when it has been possible last time) : ). It would be pleasent if you join to our daily routines somehow also during public holidays, but it is not necessary. There are other au pairs in Porvoo and close Porvoo as well and there are at least two facebook groups where to find and meet them. We appreciate your freetime very much and would like that you find here activities, friends and sport you can spend time and have fun outside the family also.
