Situation: Living in a lovely large house with a beautiful garden in leafy North London (Totteridge). We have the countryside outside our back door but are only half an hour from Camden on the tube. We are only 7 minutes walk to Totteridge & Whetstone tube and shops. You would have the top floor to yourself with your own good sized, double bedroom and ensuite bathroom, use of a car and be part of a really warm, fun family. Us: Dynamic, generous friendly family based in North London are looking for a fun, energetic au-pair to join us. Dad:hard-working company director working in the city who travels sometimes. Mum:also hard-working, interior designer returning to work, part time from home studio. Our two lovely daughters are 10 years old and 7. They are lots of fun, creative, love to sing & dance and enjoy outdoor activities.
You:are fun, energetic, kind, patient. You enjoy the outdoors and can cook healthy, simple meals, for the kids and us sometimes. It is essential to possess a U.K. drivers license as we require you to share in doing the school run etc. You can speak at least moderate English. You are someone who mucks in and enjoys music and laughter and are flexible with daily schedules. The job:, You would work 5 days in the week. Babysitting usually a couple of nights a week. Doing housework daily and keeping the place clean and tidy. Being able to iron would be bonus. (We do have a cleaner who comes in 1 x per week too).
