We are looking for an outgoing, loving and caring, energetic au pair to join our family and help look after our house and 2 boys aged 2 and 6. We live on the edge of the town of Carluke in the Central Belt of Scotland, near to Glasgow and Edinburgh, so plenty to do and see on your days off! We are a busy family- I work in Glasgow as a lawyer 4 days per work, my husband is a showjumping coach so he is away quite a lot. We have a nice flat for you and use of a car. There is a train station in our town and language classes can be organised for you if you wish. If you are interested in horseriding and horses, there is plenty opportunity to ride here!
Ideally you will work on a Monday morning, a Wednesday afternoon, Thursday Friday all day and for some time at the weekends. You would help to get the boys up in the morning and give them their breakfast, get dressed, take the older boy to school, then look after the little one, take him to his toddlers class on a Thursday morning, give him his lunch and collect the older boy from school again in the afternoon. He has various activities after school which you would take him to. You would then make their dinner, and bath and get them ready for bed. I usually get home from work about 6pm. At the weekends we often go to horse shows, and you would often come with us to look after the kids when we are busy riding etc at the shows. We have young people who work in the stables who would be living with you in a nice flat we have about 5 minutes away from the house, with your own double bedroom, internet access, so there is the opportunity for some social interaction with people your own age of different nationalities. I would also like you to help keep the house tidy, the boys washing and ironing, vacuuming etc
