We are a loving and fun family of 2 (plus 2 small cats!). I (Katie) work in the centre of London Monday to Friday - while Bay is still at primary school which is a short walk away. We are very active; Bay loves to swim and ride her bike. I run most mornings. We love art, music and films and our house is full of music and laughter. We live near family and Bay's cousins are often around playing in the garden or Bay is at their house. I love to cook (a lot) and we try to eat very healthily. Our last au-paid has been with us for two years and we will really, really miss her! We want someone who is fun, energetic, patient and kind. Someone who likes to play games and enjoy life. Essentia skills are that they are responsible, trustworth and speak English to a good degree and be able to cook basics such as pasta.
Days expected to work are Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend babysitting (on average 1 Saturday a month). The person we hire will need to be able to do the following: Term time: - am Help with breakfast. - 8.45: Take to school in the morning Rest of day free until: - 3.30/4.30: Collect from school - Help with home-work/ play time, have and make dinner and get Bay ready for bed (run bath) - 7.30/8pm: Katie home. Specific’s: Mondays she is collected by you, given dinner and then goes to a club from 5,30 to 8pm. Collection is 4.30 on Tuesdays and Thursday only. School Holidays: Must be available and willing to look after Bay in the holiday’s and keep her entertained when Katie is not off work or Bay is not with her Aunt or Grandmother (which she mainly is in this period). Bay General: - Help to keep Bay’s room and toys /games tidy - Make sure Bay’s clothes are cleaned tidy and organised, school uniform ready each morning - Be willing to play board games, card games, imagination games, play with Barbie’s, go to the park, ride bikes, swim. Home-help duties: - Look after the cats (feed them (twice daily) and occasional changing of litter tray). - Keeping the house tidy How much of the below duties the au-pair takes on is for discussion and the salary / pocket money will reflect this this (i,e the more you do the more you will be paid): - Helping out with household duties including cleaning and laundry.
