Hello ;) I need an au pair to start on or before 1st June 2014. I am looking for a kind, friendly and honest young lady to come and live in my home and help me take care of my two young daughters aged 5 years and the youngest will be 6 months old. I am a single mother and I work three days during the week and a weekend once a fortnight. I have family and friends who live localyl to me but they are unable to assist with childcare during the week. I live in a nice sized family home with my two daughters and I am very clean and tidy. I have animals at home, but these are also well behaved and easy to care for. You will not be expected to look after them, but they are a part of this family. I rarely go out without my children, so baby sitting duties in the evening will be rare ( and I have plenty of other volunteers!) Anyone coming to live with me will be able to work elsewhere on the days that I do not work if this suited them.
Duties I will expect from you three days a week are; To take my eldest daughter to school each morning and collect her each afternoon. (School is a 5 minute walk from home) To look after my youngest who will be about 6 months old, take her to toddler/ baby groups etc. To keep the home tidy so that I don't come home to a mess. Weekly dusting and hoovering. To prepare food for the children's evening meal. You will be free to do as you please 4 days each week, but you are more than welcome to join me in what ever activities I do. On the days I work, I will leave the house early 0630 and return about 1730. You would be expected to get the children up, get them dressed and fed before school. My mum pops in after work so will be there to assist you or me from 5 pm onwards. My eldest daughter is very helpful and a very easy child, who enjoys helping with her little sister and i am very confident you will enjoy her company. My youngest is still very young but appears to be of similar personality. I rarely do anything without the children so these three days will be your core duties and I can take over when I am home from work. I want you to feel welcome in my home and i hope we can be good friends and enjoy each other's company, and more importantly, that the children like and trust you. Non smokers only please.
