Hello we are a family who live just outside the city of York. We run a camping and caravan site that is family owned.We are looking for a male or female au-pair if possible as our son William is 18 years old and has Autism (special needs). We are looking for someone who is willing to go into this type of caring roll. Who is easy to get on with, has a good sense of humour and is not afraid to tackle new things. All our au- pairs that we have had in the past are now firm family friends. We treat you as one of the family and include you in all family outings were possible.
You will need to load and empty the dish washer, hoover, dust and do some ironing. Hang the washing out and get it in when dry. Your main duty will be to look after William (who is 18 and has Autism and Epilepsy which is controlled by drugs) after school. This will involve cooking his tea and spending time with him outdoors or keeping an eye on him when in the home. William has no sense of danger and no road sense. He has some language and can get his message across.He is a lively boy and enjoys, swimming,cycling,climbing and been outdoors etc.
