Hi, we are Andy, Natalie and Finn. Andy is an optometrist, Natalie is an engineer who is returning to work in January following maternity leave, Finn is currently 9 months old and will be starting at a nursery in January too. We are a happy, positive, adventurous family who like to be busy. We think life is about experiences so love visiting new places and trying new activities. We also love catching up with our friends and family, and having them to stay with us on our weekends. We also love the outdoors, and where we live in Pembrokeshire is perfect, we love walking, cycling, kayaking and surfing. We are in the process of moving to a new home, an old house on the river, so we hope to learn to sail too. Finn loves exploring, climbing, swimming and chewing anything and everything! We would love a happy and positive individual(s) with a sense of fun and who loves children and is keen to improve their English to join our family. We would like you to make yourself at home and become part of our family. Our new home is perfectly liveable but we are looking to do some renovation work eg new windows, new kitchen/bathroom, decorating, so there will at times be some inconvenience that we will all need to work around. You need to be used to living in a small village and only having the facilities of a small town a bus ride away. When Natalie returns to work we would like to spend our evenings focused on Finn and each other, we would therefore like someone to run our home for us during the working week, with some additional baby sitting. We anticipate that there would be approximately 3 - 4 hours work/day Monday to Friday plus some additional baby sitting. We would appreciate you -: • Washing, drying and ironing • Cleaning the house • Cooking the evening meal • Running errands around the village For baby sitting we would appreciate -: • Maximum of 2 evenings per week • Occasional block of a couple of hours on a weekend during the day (so we can go for a brief kayak, surf, sail) • Occasional entertaining of Finn if we need to complete a task around the house • Occasional drop off or pick up of Finn from nursery (we'll pay for a taxi) • Occasional looking after of Finn if he is mildly ill and unable to go to nursery You will have your own double bedroom with ensuite, lounge and kitchen. We would py you £80/week. We would like you to be part of the family, joining us for meals and sharing weekend meal preparation. We are open to a single au pair or a couple. If an au pair couple joins us we would appreciate the second individual looking after the garden in return for their board and lodgings. We would help the second individual find local employment if they wish. Ideal start date is late Nov 13 so you have time to settle in before Finn starts nursery and Natalie returns to work, however we do have some flexibility on start date.
