Personal introduction

My name is Paloma and I am a 25 years old girl that was born and lives in Madrid, the capital of Spain. I studied Physical activity and sports sciences B.A. at college and I have a Master degree in Teaching, so that I can work as a P.E. teacher in any school or high school. I actually work as a swimming teacher with kids of all ages. I teach them how to swim and we play a lot of games while we are swimming. Every summer, I work as a monitor in summer camps for kids. The kids are from 7 to 17 years old. They are always very funny and we do many activities outdoor. I have more than five years of experience in this type of activities. The reasons why I think i will be a good au pair are that I think I am quite experience on dealing with kids, as I work with them in my daily days. My strengths are my experience, patience and positive attitude. Being an au pair would be a great chance to improve my English level. I would love to take care of the children during the day and also, if it were possible, have some time to enroll an English academy and have some grammatical support. I don’t have any preference with the ages of the kids, as I have worked with kids from different ages from 5 to 17 years old. Teenagers are really fun to me, but children are also very loving. Regarding housework, I have to admit that I am not a very good cook, although I can make simple meals. I am also willing to help in any cleaning duty as long as it is economically compensated.
