Personal introduction

Traveling has always been a dream of mine, but unfortunately it can get pretty expensive. Luckily I also love to work with children so I'm hoping I'll be able to become a part of your family for the next year and be able to take care of your children while seeing another corner of the world. I can't drive but I have been using public transportation for the past five years so I feel pretty confident in my navigation skills. I would like to work about 30 hours a week and I would love a day off per week to explore. I would be happy to do light housework (dusting, organizing, vacuuming, etc) and help prepare simple meals as well as caring for and playing with your children. I'm 18 and I've lived in the US my whole life. I was born in Hawaii, lived in Vermont for a few years, lived in New Jersey for 10 years and I've been living in Massachusetts for the past five years. I just graduated high school and I'm taking a gap year before enter Simmons College in Boston as a freshman. I'm looking forward to working with your family and have a chance to explore another part of the world and expand my horizons! I have been working with children since I was 9, as a mother's helper (parents around), and as a babysitter (parents away). I also have 3 younger brothers and one older sister so I am definitely able to work with siblings.
