Personal introduction

I have always worked with children and have loved doing so. I was going to school to become a teacher but am taking a short break. I have been a nanny off and on for 8 years and have loved every family I have gotten the chance to work with. I am energetic, outgoing, honest, active, trustworthy with many references and am willing to submit to a background check and others. I have worked with several families over the last 8 years, most of them just outgrew me, meaning the kids grew up and started going to school so the families had no need for me. I have worked with newborns to age 17. I am not opposed to working with older teenagers, for tutoring or being a "big sister" type of situation. I come from a large family where I was always caring for younger siblings and cousins. I love crafts, music, the outdoors, biking, hiking, dogs, dancing, playing, reading, board games, and I love learning and teaching alongside kids. I don't eat red meat or pork. I know how to cook and love learning how to cook and I am more than willing to cook anything. I'm tidy, and am more than willing to do housework to help.
